I was very fortunate for the past months to work on the Audi e-bike for this year’s Wörthersee show. I was one of 2 designers and many great engineers who helped pull off a working bike that can handle some real stunt work. These are some of my sketches and images released before the show. I will definitely be snapping some of my own down in Wörthersee next week!

I did this as a birthday present for one of my best friends. He used to have this car until it recently passed away, so it now lives on forever in this render I did for him.

Not the most popular car during the muscle car era, but still a very cool car. I’m a big AMC fan, and when all you see out there is Mustangs, Camaro’s and Cuda’s, the Javelin is very refreshing.

Finally I took the time to do a hot rod, and I’ll keep going with them since that’s one of the reasons I’m in this design biz.

Taking some time to enjoy sketching something other then Audi’s. Not a real Pontiac model, but I love the style of those old early 60′s Pontiac’s, so just something in that style. No scanner these days so I’m taking photos of my work, so don’t mind the quality.

My friend Niklas and myself have joined forces to photoshop Jurassic Park vehicles that could make it into the much talked about 4th movie. Whether it happens or not, nobody knows yet, but we’ll keep having fun making these mods. Visit http://jpfour.tumblr.com/ where we will be posting all of our images.

The wait is over, and the Kia Sportage ad featuring my custom bicycle Tequila Sunrise is now out in full force around europe. I was lucky enough to have family on vacation spot the ad on a billboard in Malta! If anybody finds more billboards or ads in magazines please e-mail me and let me know! All those late nights working through -12 in a garage with no heat finally paid off.

Recently I had a fan purchase one of my latest pieces “Ride to Atlantis” and wanted it autographed. We worked it out that he ordered the matted print from my Red Bubble account and had it sent directly to me so I could sign it. I am very excited to say Red Bubble produced a quality print and packed everything properly. Very exciting to see the final product after all that hard work building the 3D model in my spare time. Thanks Stuart for ordering, your print is on its way, and you’ve got my first official autograph ever! Here’s the link to purchase this print from Red Bubble: http://www.redbubble.com/people/jbattersby/art/7388908-ride-to-atlantis?c=73107-3d-art

Its a shame to let those old 3D files just collect dust on my hard drive, so I rendered some detail shots of my work during my masters course in Umea.

My bicycle Tequila Sunrise at a photo shoot in Toronto for an upcoming ad for the new Kia Sportage. Don’t mind that VW in there, thats a stand in for the real Kia shots being done in Spain. While i’m in Germany missing all the action! Can’t wait to see the finished ad!

How about a Royal Canadian Air Force special edition R8 inspired by the legendary Avro Arrow.

Even though I still think the car is a little big, there’s no doubt this new Beetle is an improvement in proportions, moving away from the geometric version we all know. It also lends itself to mods pretty well, whether going old school or maybe a Porsche inspired racer!

Did this a while back, but seeing as now that i’m in Munich doing my internship at Audi Konzept Design I thought I should post this render of the enemy. Real cars have 4 rings
